Shorah!

I just finished carving out the glyphs for the 5 clue stones that will be a part of the main puzzle in my Garden Age. I highlighted the engravings with a sharpie to show the detail in the picture. I think that they turned out very well for my first bit of rock-etching.

Thanks, E!

I may distress the stones a bit more to make them look more ancient. But otherwise, I am blissfully content with how they turned out.

My favorite distressing method is throwing whatever it is on pavement. I dunno how well that will work on rocks though....

Yeah, Rocks are pretty hard to distress, having been distressed by Mother Nature herself!! But I should be able to do some antiquing with some acrylic paint.

I feel like with a rock, it would just shatter...And that would be a shame with these beauties!
:iconelorviel:
or that could work too...lol

do they make animal sounds when turned? :P
looks cool
:iconpirkleations:
No.
They don't make animal sounds.
But they do make a mess on the carpet. LOL

I don't know what you're planning, but maybe for this or another puzzle you could have something where on the back of a stone like these you could have a symbol sticking out like a key to go into a lock.
And you know what you could have inside?
A SQUEE!!!
Or at least a Relto page for one.
There should totally be a Squee emote.

I really LOVE the idea that a stone such as my clue stones can open a secret door or cabinet, revealing a treasure or another clue to a different puzzle!!
THANKS!!!
