GONE NUTS

Amelia has lost her nuts for the Winter Yule Ball. The brown bag sat empty. They were pilfered by unknown culprits!! 
Could it have been Percy Possum?
He loved nuts and had opposable thumbs. 
Or was it a Nut Gnome? They can be very mischievous sometimes.
If she could not find the nuts soon, then her job as a Gatherer would be over as soon as it had started.
What was she going to do??
