Here are some pictures of the new lights that run down one of the pathways in my Riven/URU Garden Age project. Each pathway will have different kinds of lighting. But all of the pathways will have lighting appropriate to the Myst games. These particular lights are solar-powered, so they do not require power cords to be run to them. At night, they will light up in different colors. But for now, they need to charge up before I can get pictures of them after dark. In the game of Riven, similar fire marble ball lights can be seen in the secret Moiety caves behind the prisoner cell on Jungle Island. Thanks for looking!! ~D |

I'll probably have to get some more powerful lighting for the sitting and feature areas. I've seen some solar lights that look like rocks that would be perfect for additional lighting.

A couple of them almost lit last night! I guess they need to charge up a little more.

I've still got a few more that I can put up for this pathway and enough cool branches and stumps to get the job done.
Today, I'm working on some carved "clue stones" for the Garden Age.
It is an awesome feeling bringing aspects of the worlds of Myst into our 3-D world!! I am so stoked to keep this project going until it's done and ready for explorers!!
