KI to my heart

I *must* have some D'ni in my blood to be so obsessed with a computer game series. It's stories, Ages, music and breathtaking environments fill my heart and mind with wonder and spark my imagination to bring these worlds closer to me. If loving the worlds of Myst, Riven and URU is wrong, I don't want to be right. The ending has not been written.

After nearly a year in the works, I've finally got my very own KI for "3-D world" explorations!! I bought it off of a shady Bahro selling Rolexes, MP3 Players and Jewelry.
Seemed like a nice enough fellow as he flew off into the cavern after the sale. LOL

This is a replica of the KI Device from the computer game URU. It is used to communicate with other Explorers of D'ni and it's many, many Ages, take pictures and play games.

I sculpted the disc base from polymer clay. I then added some model part bits for the buttons. Then I painted it to match the aged, metal tones of bonafide D'ni hardware.

It measures 2 1/4 inches wide by 3/4" inches tall and the hand-strap is 1" wide.

I highly encourage any Myst, Riven or URU fans to show off their love of the Ages through creativity and dare to take the journey.

Now to start hunting for those pesky markers!!
